Hot Yoga 101 and rule #1 when starting off, trust your body. Your body knows. The instructor doesn't. Heck, they may even bump up the temperature for kicks (or by mistake). How will you know that you didn't have enough water and the class isn't pushing your body to the edge? Well you DO know.Trust the effects you feel, the feelings, the physical changes. The point of yoga isn't to come out first, if you want that go play football. Sit out if you have to, take a break, rest, relax, after all, you're there to improve, not to kill yourself.

but for some reason paying 80 bucks for a hot yoga mat because it has special hot yoga powers (like super absorption) seems like a bit of a cash grab. I don't pretend to have all the answers, but I think there might be a bit of a mark up :P

Levels of Radiation

It provides a graph representation of all the different levels of radiation exposure we get (might get) in a lifetime. Really puts things into perspective when it comes to Japan. Although it didn't really relate directly to Japan (more to past disasters) it shows you what some brave souls are subjecting themselves to in an attempt to reduce the harm to the general population.

Back to Hot Yoga

First time I went to hot yoga I wore pants. My friend laughed. She gave me a pair of shorts.

Those purple shorts turned into dark purple shorts by the end of our session.

The sweat was so intense everything was sweating....and I mean EVERYTHING.

Some poses I couldn't even hold b/c my body was too slippery.

Talk about disgusting.

But here's what I noticed.

I dunno if being in a sauna is better to lose weight, in fact, I wonder if it's harmful to your health (I've read things on both).

I also wonder if it gets easier cause my body hurt. I'm trying again and hope to do it regularly at least for a short period of time.

We'll see how it pans out, but hopefully hot yoga will grow on me.

Or maybe I'll just opt for sitting in front of the tv yoga.

Hot Yoga is Really Hot

So with the Groupon's that keep coming out I figured I'd take advantage and give Hot Yoga a shot.

I didn't really know waht to expect, and although I googled a bit about it prior to, well, it wasn't what I expected.

Exercise is important, especially when you do'nt want to exercise (repeatedly). So off I went, and boy, I was surprised. Not so much the yoga part, but the hot part..... yea, it was hot.

The room is hot, it's like sauna hot but without the steam. Apparently it's cool add the heat and sweat a bit more. Maybe a burn a bit more, but I sure can smell everyone better....

But I guess it worked, I looked like most of the other folks as we left, a sweat soaked tomato.

Ben Smith, at Politico, put this post, VOTING IN WEST VIRGINIA. He added, "If you're in West Virginia, let us know what you're seeing on the ground."

Following are some of the comments made by Obama supporters. And they wonder why so many Hillary supporters will not be a part of his campaign or will vote for him in the General Election.

For those who wonder why I seem so angry and fed up with Obama and his supporters, just look below and take a glance at what I see every day on the blogs. This is why I quit reading Huffington Post, AmericaBlog and other large blogs. This is what I see on our own small blogs. Being called a racist early on was just the beginning.

Look closely at what the Democratic party has become. I saw many of you defending Randi Rhodes for her so-called comedy act, calling Hillary Clinton a "fucking whore", and calling Geraldine Ferraro a racist and a "fucking whore". How many of you denounced what she said? How many of you chose not to comment at all? The silence was telling.

While I will admit, I only took out the comments that I found to be hateful to the max, but there were so many of them! I didn't bother to put up the comments about McCain that ripped him for his age (just as Obama has been doing on the campaign trail...this is the change in the tone of campaigning he was talking about, I guess.)

I realize that these comments don't reflect the views of ALL Obama supporters, but it is a much larger group than you can imagine. It became that way because of the silence from those who refuse to put them in their place. This hatred is growing because Obama himself will not denounce this behavior, instead he fuels it in his rally's and during his interviews. The main stream media helps with their own form of race baiting and misogyny...and they get away with it because they don't hear from the Obama supporters or from Obama that this is not acceptable by a campaign that dares to call themselves educated.

I hope you take the time to read every single one of these comments. Be aware that this is what has driven so many Hillary supporters away from the Democratic party.

I don't mind the w va people voting the way they apparently will. But on cnn last night, I saw a group of six women, talking about why they will not vote for Obama. (4 of them were leaning that way). They do not know what his positions are on the issues, because there is no substance in what he says. They have no clue---they have not been paying attention to anything other than gender and possibly race. Gibberish---they are just ****sed off and bitter.

Below are two comments made by Obama supporters passing the blame of the hatred spewing from their compatriots on Hillary supporters.

I think there is an assumption about comments- negative comments about WV could just as easily be HRC supporters trying to make Obama look bad. That said this is a good example of the power of small states- winning big margins in small states gives more delegates than close margins in big states.

The next comment will be my last, I'm tired of reading the hate that is being spewed. I think this last comment says it all about the mentality that has seeped into the Obama campaign. This is a supporter who actually thinks she's bringing the message of "unity".

This is shameful... I am staunchily in Obama's camp, but to mock those "walmart dems" is not the message of unity that we need to forge. The best we can all do is educate people, not make fun of them. Come on, folks... we need to usher in a political enlightenment.
