Complaints, Complaints, Complaints

Well, it's official ... I'm fricken fallin' apart. I have 2 back teeth that need the attention of a dentist but I can't afford it. My left tonsil is paining off and on but in a weird way ... no fever, no constant soreness, just a bizarre fleeting pain. My right lung feels like I have a huge tumor sitting in the middle of it. I wonder if x-rays can be trusted ... mine came out clear but perhaps I need the scope. Oh jeeez, not the scope ... God only knows what they'd find. My back is just about broke. After I had my back surgery my doctor said no lifting. So what do I do? I do what I have to do when desperate times call for desperate measures ... I've been lifting non-stop with my husband because we have no one to help us. Some things weren't too bad but lifting a stove was a bit much. I'm paying for my foolishness now. Then I have the bleeding problem that I experienced. Thankfully it hasn't happened again but who knows what the hell that's all about. I have an appointment with my doctor next week to get it checked out.

When I went into work the main cook said, "Thank God, someone from Enriched Housing is here." I asked what was going on ... apparently the girl who was supposed to work yesterday didn't show up. She didn't call in, didn't let anyone know ... she just didn't bother showing up. They didn't figure this out until it was meal time and no one was there. It totally screwed everyone up. It was too late to set up for supper so trays had to be thrown together at a time when the other part of the building had to be fed. I'm sure they weren't impressed. This is the same girl who always calls in the sick. The last one to do that eventually quit. I suspect this is what will happen again.

I went to the mall after work to buy a new toilet seat. I'll have to get my husband to replace that nasty-ass one in the bathroom downstairs. The more I think about it, the more it pisses me off ... these things should have been attended to before renting to new tenants. Jeeez I hate slum lords. I also bought some coat hooks ... there's nowhere to hang anything which makes me wonder what the last renters did. I also stopped down at my own house to pick up a few more things. I cleaned the porch and the living room. The next room I'm going to tackle is the kitchen ... oh man, it looks bad. There's an evil part of me that feels like saying f**k it. The bank is after my house after I finished paying the first mortgage and after I spent all that money on repairs. I feel like leaving the house that looks like the aftermath of a frat party and say, "Screw you, it's all yours, pricks!"

I guess I should go get to work doing some more clean up here. Oh joy, Oh bliss.

Your new place sounds like a nightmare!

I agree that the landlord should have cleaned it up.
