Ben Smith, at Politico, put this post, VOTING IN WEST VIRGINIA. He added, "If you're in West Virginia, let us know what you're seeing on the ground."

Following are some of the comments made by Obama supporters. And they wonder why so many Hillary supporters will not be a part of his campaign or will vote for him in the General Election.

For those who wonder why I seem so angry and fed up with Obama and his supporters, just look below and take a glance at what I see every day on the blogs. This is why I quit reading Huffington Post, AmericaBlog and other large blogs. This is what I see on our own small blogs. Being called a racist early on was just the beginning.

Look closely at what the Democratic party has become. I saw many of you defending Randi Rhodes for her so-called comedy act, calling Hillary Clinton a "fucking whore", and calling Geraldine Ferraro a racist and a "fucking whore". How many of you denounced what she said? How many of you chose not to comment at all? The silence was telling.

While I will admit, I only took out the comments that I found to be hateful to the max, but there were so many of them! I didn't bother to put up the comments about McCain that ripped him for his age (just as Obama has been doing on the campaign trail...this is the change in the tone of campaigning he was talking about, I guess.)

I realize that these comments don't reflect the views of ALL Obama supporters, but it is a much larger group than you can imagine. It became that way because of the silence from those who refuse to put them in their place. This hatred is growing because Obama himself will not denounce this behavior, instead he fuels it in his rally's and during his interviews. The main stream media helps with their own form of race baiting and misogyny...and they get away with it because they don't hear from the Obama supporters or from Obama that this is not acceptable by a campaign that dares to call themselves educated.

I hope you take the time to read every single one of these comments. Be aware that this is what has driven so many Hillary supporters away from the Democratic party.

[My comments are written in orange]

I see white people.

Waiting for Obama's APRIL FUNDRAISING numbers to come out, probably within a minute of West Virginia being called for Senator Clinton, which should trump any short-lived victory she has :)

Hillary: The power-mad, delusional, self serving liar that refuses to quit. She will go down and flames and we will all enjoy it!

We Are Family- I'm only bashing Hillary and the occasional racist, both of whom deserve it. Making fun of stupid people is kind of a hobby of mine, so I respectfully decline until she goes away.

White people with missing teeth wearing beer hats, Hillary playing a banjo while drinking some moonshine, Bill wearing a straw hat breathing heavily while staring awkwardly at a pig for some reason.

I don't mind the w va people voting the way they apparently will. But on cnn last night, I saw a group of six women, talking about why they will not vote for Obama. (4 of them were leaning that way). They do not know what his positions are on the issues, because there is no substance in what he says. They have no clue---they have not been paying attention to anything other than gender and possibly race. Gibberish---they are just ****sed off and bitter.

How can people vote in West Virginia if they can't read ?? Is there a picture of a white woman and a black man on the ballot to help them out ?

Below: A Hillary supporter fights back. Do Obama supporters realize the hate they are spreading and how much they sound like Bush's right wing supporters?

More racist and divisive attacks by Obama and his supporters. No wonder he has lost the "white vote" since Feb 19th. He should do as well as Dukakis with his lefty nutjob base of supporters. Keep pushing the hate "uniters" and "hope"mongers. Nice to see it is all Obama all the time with his "bitter" supporters.

Hillary is reaping what she has sowed, and it is about time people called her on it. Keep bashing people! Maybe when she stops the lying and racism people will quit, but I doubt she will do anything close to the right thing given her track record.

Posted By: Bill Clinochio | May 13, 2008 at 11:04 AM

Yeah...keep bashing guys! You'll really get those Hillary supporters to stay in the Democratic party that way!

Seriously though, when has anyone cared what West Virginia thought?

Posted By: blculbre | May 13, 2008 at 11:06 AM

Well, apparently Obama and his supporters could care less if they could win West Virginia in the General Election. Who needs electoral votes? They can win on HOPE!

I see Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea with torches, leading a throng of people with pointy hoods.

Between all these hateful remarks about Hillary and her supporters, they sprinkled in a bunch of comments about how old McCain is. Below is a response by a Hillary supporter to those remarks.

Interesting how the Obamabots here have already switched over from woman bashing to ageism.Yes Obama and his minions are certainly the change we ha have been waiting for.Fortunately its a change that wont be happening in November

Hey Wow: you know who else won the "white vote"? HITLER! YEAH I WENT THERE.

Posted By: CK | May 13, 2008 at 11:10 AM

Wow! I see more and more white people.

I see hard-working Americans, white people, wearing beautiful flowing white robes, with matching hoods.

Below are two comments made by Obama supporters passing the blame of the hatred spewing from their compatriots on Hillary supporters.

I think there is an assumption about comments- negative comments about WV could just as easily be HRC supporters trying to make Obama look bad. That said this is a good example of the power of small states- winning big margins in small states gives more delegates than close margins in big states.

Hey Ben, I'm an Obama supporter but I reject and denounce this garbage. But what evidence do you have that these comments are from Obama people? Your update is exactly what folks from the other campaigns are looking for.

Posted By: Fladem | May 13, 2008 at 11:25 AM

Hey Ben- What evidence do you have the comments are coming from Obama supporters. It could McCain supporter, trolls, heck even Clinton supporters. But of course, since are still so in love with Hillary you can't help but make the jab. I think you owe us Obama supporters an apology.

The next comment will be my last, I'm tired of reading the hate that is being spewed. I think this last comment says it all about the mentality that has seeped into the Obama campaign. This is a supporter who actually thinks she's bringing the message of "unity".

This is shameful... I am staunchily in Obama's camp, but to mock those "walmart dems" is not the message of unity that we need to forge. The best we can all do is educate people, not make fun of them. Come on, folks... we need to usher in a political enlightenment.

This is political enlightenment? Calling Hillary supporters, "Walmart Democrats"????
